Summer closure + annual studio maintenance
Dougherty Glassworks is currently closed for summer vacation and annual studio maintenance. The studio and gallery are closed.
The online shop remains open, and orders placed during the closure will begin shipping July 27. From July 27 to August 10, shipping is limited to items currently in stock. Regular production lead times resume after August 10.
Our next workshop release will be pumpkin workshops. September and October dates will be released in mid-August. Newsletter subscribers receive early access before dates are posted publicly. Registration is first come, first served, and spaces cannot be reserved by email.

These gleaming orbs are the perfect addition to any tree, window or balcony. Watch their colours dance about when you plug in your Christmas tree lights!
The colors used in this series contain Gold and Silver. At the end of the making process, the fuel is turned way up in the reheating furnace, which brings those gold and silver molecules to the surface, giving their distinct mirrored shine.
When light passes through, you can see a mesmerizing honeycomb pattern within.
